Dear Parents, dear Friends of Deutsche Schule Kobe/European School,
Welcome to our website. In June 2009 our school moved to Rokko Island, into a beautiful wooden, state-of-the-art “environmentally symbiotic” building, but it can proudly look back on a tradition of more than 100 years. It is a wonderful experience to be able to build on the foundations and to work together with the teachers, the students, and their parents towards our common goal of creating a school environment in which we can learn from each other and in which everyone can thrive and develop his or her potential. The educational approach offered by our school, rooted in ideals and principles of Germany’s educational system and educational concepts of the European Union, prepares children for life in the 21st century by giving them communication skills, multicultural experiences, ecological knowledge, and the capacity for lifelong learning.
Our staff work together to nurture the children’s talents and to help them find their place in the world of tomorrow. We are looking forward to welcoming you at Deutsche Schule Kobe/European School !
